Shield#1

Description: This convex shield design is typically made of buffalo hump rawhide. The design of shell disk with horsehair tassels, coup stripes with a bear painted on it was obtained in the Plains Indian warrior's vision quest. It is decorated with five eagle wing feathers and one long trade cloth tassel hanging on the bottom. A long felt strip wraps the top and sides as well as hanging down below the shield.
