Lancers on Rocky Ground

Description: This is a scene showing 4 Plains Indians riding horses at full gallop holding lances and shields. The horses are all in the position where all four hoofs are in the air. The ground is very rocky on top and underneath. A buffalo skull lies on the edge of the ground in front. Allen first photographed the sculptures of each individual cast paper sculpture piece he created. The sculptures were accomplished in a variety of sizes over a period of time for many different original pieces.
