Mystic Hunters

Description: This is a mystical scene where two Plains Indians are trying to bring down a large and angry buffalo bull. An ancestor spirit watches over the hunters as the eagle covers him. Buffalo ghosts are in the background and a buffalo pipe is tied to a large buffalo bull's skull. Allen first photographed the sculptures of each individual cast paper piece he created. The sculptures were accomplished in a variety of sizes over a period of time for many different original pieces.
