Mystic Powwow

Description: This is a Powwow scene (expanded and altered from another print called "Powwow- Picking the new Chief") showing 23 Plains Indians from 4 different tribes: Sioux, Cheyenne, Crow and Blackfoot. They are meeting to discuss many things but notice the piles of rocks set up with a buffalo to attract the bison to this location for a future hunt. Allen first photographed the sculptures of each individual cast paper sculpture piece created by him and his wife Patty Eckman.
