Plains Indian Prints

<<Back | Prints | Next>>

Description: This is a Powwow scene complete with traditional Indian Dancers showing 18 Plains Indians from 4 different tribes: Sioux, Cheyenne, Crow and Blackfoot. They are meeting to discuss many things but are also interested in who the new Cheyenne chief may be evidenced by the war bonnet display while the majestic eagle soars above. Allen first photographed the sculptures of each individual cast paper sculpture piece created by him and his wife Patty Eckman. The sculptures were accomplished in a variety of sizes over a period of time for many different original pieces.
